SlideShare: Promising fungal antagonists tested against powdery mildew

In the BIOCOMES project we are working on a sustainable biocontrol agent against powdery mildew.

In this slide share presentation you can see our latest update on this research project of Wageningen UR: Powdery mildew slideshare.

The agent we are developing will be based on newly selected fungal antagonists. This research project is on track. After finding and collecting multiple fungal isolates we have pre-screened them under various temperatures and humidity conditions etc. This resulted in 185 isolates that we tested on wheat plants. The most promising isolates were selected for their potential to reduce powdery mildew sporulation.
